This is more than just a shared pottery studio—it's a haven for cultivating creativity, quieting the mind, and building meaningful connections. Our studio is a welcoming sanctuary for those seeking personal growth and a sense of community through the art of clay. The Pencil Ceramics Membership offers you the chance to work independently in Ellen's fully equipped studio, surrounded by a supportive community of ceramic artists. With access to your own shelving, multiple wheels, clay, firing services and all glazes, it's the perfect opportunity to refine your skills and bring your creations to life. Membership provides 12 hours of studio time per month (about 3 hours a week), giving you the freedom to visit during open hours as it best fits your schedule. Starting in February, we will offer three flexible membership options: 6-Month Membership: R2,000 per month 3-Month Membership: R2,200 per month 1-Month Membership: R2,400 This membership is not instructor-led, which is why it requires wheel experience or past attendance of the Beginners Course. We believe in creating a peaceful, high-vibration environment, enhanced with candlelight, soft music, a cozy lounge area, and complimentary coffee and tea for a warm, inspiring atmosphere. You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time, but it is thought to be a continuous course. FEBRUARY Studio Opening Hours: MON from 5 - 8pm TUE from 2 - 5pm & 5 - 8pm WED from 2 - 5pm & 5 - 8pm Additional Studio Opening Hours are announced on a weekly basis.
